Assessment Centre Design & Delivery

Assessment Centres comprise multiple assessments and use multiple assessors to observe and evaluate behaviour in a simulated work environment.

The multi-rater, multi-method design lends itself to fairness as candidates are given a number of opportunities to demonstrate their strengths, which contributes to the success of the approach in predicting likely on-the-job performance.

However, achieving higher levels of predictive validity and reliability is not guaranteed unless the assessment centre is well designed and professionally run.
